自幼学艺，先后出版近百连环画，漫画上千幅，专著十余种，其中主编上海人民美术出版社出版的《当代中国紫砂陶艺名家》。多年来潜心紫砂孤品手塑和陶刻。壶作"钟馗壶"、"东坡壶"、"茶圣壶"等别具创意，极富情趣，其紫砂艺品在港澳台及东南亚影响广泛。在宜兴城区设计勒石壁画摩崖石刻多处。名载《中国当代文艺名人》、《中国当代美术家人名录》、《上海连环画家图典》等多部权威名录。
He learned art since he was a child and published hundreds of picture books, thousands of comics, and focused on more than ten of them, among these, he edited the "Chinese Contemporary Yixing Clay Master Potters," which was published by Shanghai People's Art Publishing House. He devoted to hand sculptures and pottery engraving of Yixing Clay for many years. The pot works of "Zhong Kui Hu" "Dong Po Hu" "Cha Sheng Hu" are full of creativity and temperament, his clay pot works are widely influential in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. He also engraved and designed many parts of the mural on the cliff stone at Yixing district. Shao's name is on "China Contemporary Literal and Art Personage," "China Contemporary Artist Name Lists," "Shanghai Picture Book Artist," and many other authoritative records.
