1949年生于上海，浙江宁波慈溪人。

毕业于上海轻工业专科学校美术专业，1978年任《大连日报》社美术编辑、设计室主任，高级职称。2009年回上海受聘于上海东方书画院画师、上海海峡两岸书画交流会画师、上海承越文化艺术中心画师。

现为中国美协藏书票艺委会会员（曾聘为常务理事）、中国美协上海分会会员。

纽约《世界艺术研究院-中国书画院》院士、研究员。

Born in Shanghai in 1949, from Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang.

Graduated from Shanghai Institute of Technology, in 1978, he held the position of the art editor of "Daliang Daily", the director of the designing studio, and a senior title. In 2009, he was invited back to Shanghai Eastern Calligraphy and Painting Academy as a painter, Shanghai Strait Calligraphy and Painting Communication Association as a painter, and Shanghai Cheng Yue Culture and Art Center as a painter. Shao is currently a member of the China Artists Association's Bookplate Committee(once a standing director) and a member of the Shanghai branch of China Artists Association.
