——记著名画佛艺术家姜雪雁

      结识姜雪雁，是源于她画的佛像，这应该也是佛缘吧。当代画佛教题材尤其是为佛造像的画家很多，画得精致、精彩的画家也不少，但能让我为之惊叹的却不曾遇见，雪雁笔下的佛像之所以令人为之一振，是因为她笔下的佛像具有脱尽尘俗的佛境，尤其是在这个人心不古、金钱至上的特殊的历史阶段，能欣赏到雪雁的佛像艺术，显然是人生荡涤心灵的一次洗礼。

Born in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China

Studied traditional Chinese painting at the College of Fine Arts, Shanghai University

Her studio is located in Hefei, Anhui, China.

Jiang Xueyan will showcase her remarkable works, including the unparalleled 15-foot-tall “Western Trinity” and “Thousand Hands, Thousand Eyes Guanyin.” Each exhibited piece is a masterpiece, representing the pinnacle of Buddhist art.

Auction

Jiang’s work Thousand Hands, Thousand Eyes Guanyin sold for RMB 3.3 million at the 2007 Beijing Zhongding International Spring Auction.

Artistic Journey

Since 1995, Jiang has visited Buddhist holy sites such as Jiuhua Mountain and Mount Wutai, as well as renowned historical sites including the Yungang Grottoes, Dunhuang Mogao Caves, Fahai Temple murals, and Dazu Rock Carvings to enrich and elevate her artistic career.

Since 2012, she has explored top-tier international art, including:
