Zhao Kangwei's oil paintings adhere to realism and style language, simple humanity is revealed among solemnity while adding an unstrained, lyric, and arbitrary aesthetic connotation. The works emphasized the expression of lines, they are free and unrestrained; the composition is more full but simple, the art language and imagery themes mingle, allowing the works to transit from relying on objects to showing the emotions freely, expanding the realistic oil painting language's expressiveness that he already possesses.

        赵抗卫近期多采用油画棒在纸本上进行创作，意在为自己寻找一个新的创作切入口，他运用油画棒表现的虬结飞动的线条，营造出一些特殊的肌理，融合在光色之中，加强了素描关系和光色视觉效果，形成了绚丽高调的色彩组合，使画面显得异常热烈生动。

Recently, Zhao Kangwei often uses oil sticks to create on papers, where he is trying to find an entrance of new creations. He uses oil sticks to show the flying lines, forming a special texture, and blend them into the lights. This strengthened sketch relationships and visual effects of lights, making the gorgeous color composition and allowing the image to be superbly lively.

赵抗卫有着深厚的文学学养和审美格调，使他更具备了开阔的艺术视野，也是他绘画作品创作的内在支撑，这有足够的空间展示他不断超越自我，获得艺术创作更大丰收。

Zhao Kangwei has profound literary education and aesthetic style, they allow him to have a wide art vision and serves as the main internal support of his painting works. This gives him enough space to progress and gain more art harvests.
